RECRUITMENT

At Muffett Engineering, you will become part of a team working in an established precision engineering company. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, be confident in using systems and want to be part of a winning team. A valid UK drivers license is required to drive a van in south east area. Your will be required to pick and pack items for customer orders.

Responsible To: Group Commercial Director/Senior Managerial Team

Areas of working:

• Despatch
• Picking for assembly
• Some office/business system (E.R.P) work

Skills:

• Good numeracy
• Computer literate
• Ideally an understanding of stock control/checking and picking
• Clean driving licence

General duties:

• Making our products ready for transport for either customer or subcontractors
• Producing all necessary documents from our E.R.P system and arranging collection with various couriers as required
• Picking components from a job card and carrying out regular stock checks
• Van driving

General:

At all times to conduct the performance of your duties within the policies and guidelines of the business as detailed within the staff handbook.

You are required to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the Company including its products, services, financial information, and customers.

All other reasonable duties required by your line manager or the senior management team.

As a business apprentice at Muffett Engineering, you will become part of a team working in an established precision engineering company.

You will work in our busy planning department, gaining hands on experience in planning production from order to delivery. 

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, be confident in using systems and want to be part of a winning team.

The purpose of the role is for an Apprentice to be trained in all areas of business & includes one day a week at college.

The person must be able to communicate effectively with all members of staff and have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn a trade. 

General:

At all times to conduct the performance of your duties within the policies and guidelines of the business as detailed within the staff handbook. 

You are required to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the Company including its products, services, financial information, and customers.

Attend College.
